This project was a pitch for the branding direction of a small apartment complex on the Canary Island of La Palma.
This holiday complex was previously advertised primarily by word of mouth and could only be booked through a local platform for holiday apartments. The idea behind the realignment was to create a consistent graphic design that communicates the system to the outside world as an independent brand. In the medium term, a website should be created through which the apartments themselves, but also workshops taking place on the premises can be booked and products made / grown on the premises can be bought.
The complex has grown over more than two decades and each of the 8 apartment buildings has been designed in a different time and in a different way. What they all have in common, however, is the location at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above the Atlantic, which means that holiday guests are above the clouds most of the time, even on cloudy days.
But even if the clouds pull up into the pine grove surrounding the apartments, this creates an atmosphere that contributes very much to the unique holiday feeling. To underline this feeling, restrained, dark colors were chosen. Like the sand of the island itself.
The imagery of the photographs should stand out in particular from the classic holiday picture world. The focus is primarily on the atmosphere, because of which many of the visitors have come back time and time again.
La Palma is the green heart of the Canary Islands and a paradise for hikers.
