Beep: The constant
call for attention

Working nowadays is not easy.

Everywhere are little devices that seek our constant attention and even the cleanest taskbar is filled with loads of notifications. Since the mayor Operating System Vendors introduced Quiet Hours (The little moon icon in your Mac/Windows/iPhone Settings) it’s become one of my favourite settings.

Nothing is more distracting than the constant beeping, vibrating, jumping, whatevering of icons that come into view for immediate attention. They illicitly vye for your attention. And if they don’t get it they just keep filling up with more and more notifications. They don’t read themselves. You have to do it. But be warned, they are patiently waiting. All of them.
